There is no need for me to try and explain what this trailer is. If you didn’t know, Pixar is making another Toy Story film and there has already been a teaser that was released that did nothing but excite us for another adventure with the magical toys, but now, Pixar has finally released the full theatrical trailer for the beloved 3rd installment.

After watching this, I can hardly contain my excitement. I love the home movie look that the trailer starts out with and the nostalgic feel the trailer has. And a Spanish Buzz Lightyear?!!? Wow! Pixar never ceases to amaze me. Is there another movie studio/company out there right now that continues to deliver excellence every time? I dare you to find someone.

What do you think of the trailer? Do you think we’ll see a 4th Toy Story?

toy_story_31 Everyone who is anyone knows my love for Pixar runs deep. They have consistently produced quality films that both entertain the kids as well as the adults. Their stories, their work ethic, their standards of excellence, ALL add up to one of the greatest companies and film studios around.

I’m sure most, if not all, of you have seen the greatness that is Toy Story, as well as its sequel Toy Story 2, but what you maybe didn’t know was that they were INDEED planning for and producing a 3rd Toy Story film. Not only are all of the original actors coming back to reprise their roles, this time around, they weren’t even given a script.

As Tom Hanks explained to Empire magazine in their interview with the actor, this Toy Story experience has started off quite differently than the rest:

“I have been in and done three big complete recording sessions and will probably have at least one more to do, possibly in about eight months. They did an interesting thing on this one. They did not send us a script. They showed us a complete story reel of the entire movie, with storyboards moving from one to the next, and the people up at Pixar recorded some voices with some music and sound effects. Tim Allen and John Ratzenberger and I went in a movie theatre, watched the reel and said, ‘This is great, let’s get to work!’”

For those of you that are interested and as excited as I am, the first trailer for Toy Story 3 will premiere with Toy Story and Toy Story 2 when they open in 3-D on October 2nd.

How amazing of a process is this? How many actors these days can say that they’ve seen the movie FIRST before ever working on it?

Movie News: With the next Toy Story movie fully green lit by Disney and Pixar comes some very fun plot details. According to the Wall Street Journal, Woody, voiced by Tom Hanks, and his toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, leaves for college and must survive little grubby baby hands. The studio will re-release Disney Digital 3-D versions of “Toy Story” on “October 2nd 2009″ and “Toy Story 2″ on February 12th 2010 to celebrate the 3D-produced third film’s release on June 18th 2010.
