Alright, so, we all know Transformers 3 isn’t going to be “good” in the sense that you were thinking, but now that we don’t have to painstakingly get through Megan Fox’s terrible acting and doing everything in slo-mo, it may actually be survivable. So, I’m sure you’re asking yourself the all-too-important question I asked when I first heard this, “What happened?”
It looks like Warner Brothers’ adaptation of the popular western comic is getting more and more interesting as the cast continues to fill up. Joining Josh Brolin and playing the villain will be none other than master-of-villains himself, John Malkovich.
Malkovich will play Turnbull, a wealthy Southern plantation owner whose son is killed by Union soldiers during the Civil War, which he blames Hex (Brolin) for.
So, that in and of itself would be some awesome news as I love John Malkovich and especially as a bad guy, but news has come out, that I am sure will make the majority of the male audience in the world happy, that Transformers hottie Megan Fox has signed on to play the love interest of Jonah Hex, Leila. I don’t know what that does for the film overall, but I know it secures the male 13-80 demographic. Time will tell if she can really act and add quality to a film or if she’ll just become another pretty face that defaults to teen movies.
