Not the great piece of art everyone wants to believe. In fact - save for the truly amazing Unbreakable - all of his work has been lackluster. Don't buy into the media machine. Well, ok, The Village was kinda cool, too. And maybe I'm a little biased, but the week before I saw 6th Sense, I saw a movie called Stir of Echoes. Guess what, the kid sees dead people (well, really just one). The kid is cooler, Kevin Bacon is way cooler, it's darker and scarier, it's an all around better movie (insert content warning here: Rated R). I just don't get the fascination with this guy. It seemed like a good pick at the time. But I agree..what a stinker!! We even let your sister borrow it to watch it and they agreed. So at least 2 families got to watch the stinker for the price of 1 so at least we got a deal on it. Sorry Scotto you actually went to the movies to see it..I have picked some stinkers that have put me in probation also.
