Not surprised at these nominations/snubs at all. This is what I dont like about the Oscars...it is more political than politics. Looking forward to see who wins, but not surprised one bit that some made it and some didnt!

Money, Politics, Hollywood...gotta love it!

I am surprised at the omission of Kate or Leonardo for the Revolutionary Road as I hear they both did an amazing job. But Kate did get a nod for The Reader so that is great. I am happy to see Richard Jenkins in the list..he is a great character actor and I have really enjoyed his movies since I watched him in Six Feet Under.

I reported back in October that Paramount was going to begin a push for Downey to be considered for the Oscars.

Wall-E deserves all of the accolades it receives and I am disappointed that it didn't receive a Best Picture nod. It was an amazing movie, not just an animated feature, a CG masterpiece, but an AMAZING MOVIE.

I've got a big promotion coming up in February concerning the Oscars that I'll be talking about shortly...and I'm pretty sure you'll be very excited about it. Stay Tuned!

Robert Downey Jr.?? Seriously? I'm glad to see a comedy and a comic book movie both nominated in any category, but Tropic Thunder? come on.
Didn't see Wall-E, but I'm surprised at it getting a Screenplay nod.
I think that the animated film category is a waste of space. If a movie is good it should go up for best pic whether it's animated, live action, B&W, silent, or computer generated.
I really want to see the Wrestler.
Overall, my money is on Milk across all categories - even though I haven't seen it. Just seems like the kind of movie that the "Academy" gets behind.
