Movie News (12/4/2008): Hey guys, this is one of the coolest posters/advertising I’ve seen for a movie in a long time! Sony has gone all out for this movie and Terminator Salvation is quickly moving its way up the ladder of my Most Highly Anticipated Movies of 2009.

How amazing is that?!

  • That’s pretty sweet!!! I must say that’s one of the coolest posters I’ve ever seen. Wonder if they will try to do a ‘printed’ version somehow.

  • ok, that was pretty sick. bring it.

  • NICE! I didnt see it coming at first…kudos to the kids in the marketing dept for that nugget!

but have you seen the trailer?

    yikes.

Not sure what that last comment by Thunders is implying exactly. All the trailers I’ve seen for the new movie, along with that poster have been super-sweet! Thanks Dan

PS – The TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of the more interesting TV shows to come along in a while and gets me that much more excited for the movie. It looks like the debacle known as Terminator 3 is squarely and thankfully in the rearview mirror.

i’m implying that it’s bad, because it is.

  • Darin

Johnny, you need to get one thing straight – you are implying it’s bad because YOU think it is… Unless you have been made the final word on movie trailers and I missed it.

I really hate to get to defensive over a trailer though…I can’t count how many times I liked a trailer but was disapointed in the movie. The opposite has been true as well, where I thought the trailer looked weak but liked the movie when I saw it.

The best thing about movies and the like is that they are all SUBJECTIVE. No one’s opinions is better than anyone else’s, it’s just their opinion.

A fellow movie blogger over at The Movie Blog wrote a great article on how to create and run a successful movie blog and one of his most important points was 19) IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND FILM IS SUBJECTIVE, DON’T WRITE A SINGLE WORD UNTIL YOU DO.

You can read the rest of the article here in its entirety. I think it’s a great commentary on how to maintain the integrity of your own opinion (which is all anyone really has that’s unique about them) without stifling other people’s.
