I have heard smatterings about this film for a while now but never reported anything because frankly, I didn’t know what it was about. Word finally comes from Warner Bros. in the form of the first teaser trailer for Denzel Washington’s next film entitled, “The Book of Eli.” The film also stars the great Gary Oldman and it’s a post-apocalyptic tale, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind. The trailer looks awesome and I love the gritty, dirty, and grungy look the movie has. By the way, what’s with there being two movies about the end of the world and “the last man on earth” and both of them starring the two biggest black actors we have today? I don’t know, I am just asking.
