		<description>Mauricem, I agree that without the stop-motion effects, it doesn&#039;t have the same &quot;feel&quot; as the original. It seems to me that more and more &quot;remakes&quot; or &quot;remodernizations&quot; of old classics are more about the movie studios not having a solid story to start from, more than it is a complete remake of an old classic. 

It&#039;s almost like they just need an old classic&#039;s story to start from and then by the time the film is done, they&#039;ve made a completely different film and it wouldn&#039;t even be considered a remake anymore.

It seems to me that more and more "remakes" or "remodernizations" of old classics are more about the movie studios not having a solid story to start from, more than it is a complete remake of an old classic. </p>
<p>It's almost like they just need an old classic's story to start from and then by the time the film is done, they've made a completely different film and it wouldn't even be considered a remake anymore.</p>
