USA Today has the first look at the lead characters in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes - Jude Law as Dr. John Watson, Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes, and Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler.
Not a lot of news has come out of this movie as of yet so there’s not much else to report, but I thought it was cool to see all of the main characters in one photo. The USA Today article, which mostly details Downey Jr.’s thoughts on his Oscar nomination, also reveals that the movie is aiming for a PG-13 rating.

I am completely curious about this movie. RDJr hit it BIG last summer, so I hope that he can keep it coming! My biggest concern is Guy Ritchie. Can anyone tell me a movie that he did that was of any quality? Maybe this will be it, but the body of work that I know about hasnt been very good. Or maybe it was because Madonna was in most of those movies!

madonna was in one of his 5 (i’m pretty sure that’s the amount he’s done) movies.
and lock stock and two smoking barrels is an amazing movie. snatch is almost as good. i hear that rock and rolla is really amazing too, but i haven’t seen it yet.

So johnny, do you think you will want to go see a Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes’ film? I have never seen a Guy Ritchie film so I can’t comment on it, but what can I, we, expect from a Guy Ritchie Sherlock film?

Really…Madonna I thought had done two movies of his. Snatch was his…well that improves the quality then!
