Movie News (10/17/2008): I reported back in February about the possibility of a 4th Bourne movie, and it looks like the rumors were and are true. The 4th installment of the very successful Bourne series has finally secured its writer, and it’s none other than George Nolfi, who was co-writer of the third film.
Discussion: This time around, the story will not be based on the books, but from an original story. Matt Damon will return as well as Paul Greengrass (director), but does it worry you that it’s not from the books? Personally, I am a little sceptical about this 4th movie. In my opinion, the Bourne movies have been one of the most complete action trilogies we’ve had since LOTR and Indiana Jones, and the 4th Indiana movie didn’t do so well. So, how well will this one do?

This is one that will hinge on the story. I loved that they left it open ended with the 3rd film. However, I am curious what else they can do. I am glad to know that Matt is signed and the director is signed.
Now go get Julia Stiles and Joan Allen! I loved their characters and I think that they are now pieces to the film that will help it all make sense!
Other than that…I will eagerly look forward to the news as it comes to light!

Wow Justin will be thrilled! He is a huge Borne fan and I know he will see it even if it features circus clowns trying to attack our famous Jason Bourne. Haha!
