If you were living under a rock last night or in another country that doesn’t like movies and Americans, then you might have missed the 82nd Annual Academy Awards presentation. Or maybe, like myself, you already knew who was going to win and decided to spend the time with your family. Whatever the case, if you missed it and want to know who won and who lost, we at Truth On Cinema are once again here for you. The winners are in Red.

OK, my thoughts were bravo!!! on the best actor/actress awards as I think both were due. Do I think theirs were the best performance? Maybe not as I haven’t seen all the movies like Dan but was I very happy both Jeff and my all time favorite actress Sandra won???..YES I Was!! Also to make my evening even better, my all time favorite musical artist of all times gave out the best director nod..Barbra…If Nicholas Cage (one of my favorite actors besides Edward Norton) could have been there, my evening would have been complete..
I know the awards are supposed to be about the most serious drawn out performance of an actor (most of the times) but it was good to see 2 actors who have both been good character actors get some recognition. I am sure a lot of you will disagree with me on the choices but for me, it was worth watching because of those 2 awards!!
