Movie News (6/25/08): Thanks to our friends over at YouTube and The Movie Blog we have yet another TV spot for The Dark Knight. Check it out and let me know what you think. I have thus decided to refrain from watching any more footage as I think they are starting to show WAY TOO MUCH to the public to keep the buzz going. Hey Hollywood, we got it! We are going to go see the movie, you don’t have to worry…

We felt like that on the Get Smart movie..we saw so many trailers and snippets of the movie that we were worried we were seeing the best there was already..they need to learn to refrain a bit I think.

I think that there is a little too much promo for a lot of movies. But I have to say…sometimes it heightens my desire to see a film. But then other times…makes me want to puke! OK, maybe not puke, but certainly takes the interest away.
Vantage Point is a good example of too much publicity. I knew the “twists” of the movie before I even went to the theater!
SAVE SOME OF THE MYSTERY HOLLYWOOD!

I must say, I’m looking forward to it. I’ve tried to stay away from too many trailers of it. I’ve already got my ticket for the midnight showing on the 17th! Wahoo! Thank you internet!

now that would be Sweet! But yeah Richard Liebert and I have started trying to see the comic book movies on the midnight shows. We saw Spidey 3, Transformers, and Iron Man that way. It’s fun to do it that way. Good luck with the screening passes.
