First Trailer For Ridley Scott's Robin Hood

If you know me then you know that I am a sucker for Robin Hood. It doesn't matter if it's the Disney version, a spoof (Men in Tights) version, or the version with Kevin Costner (which remains to this day as the greatest Robin Hood film) and Morgan Freeman, I love me a good "rob the rich to give to the poor" story. I don't know if it's the all of the arrows and the use of low grade weaponry, or it's the horses-only transportation, or maybe it's the overall feel of a Robin Hood film, but whatever it is, I love it. Ever since Kevin Costner's Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves came out, there has been a growing taste for more of Robin Hood.

Universal Pictures has just decided to give us more. They have released the first trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming adaptation of the infamous outlaw, "Robin Hood" starring none other than Russell Crowe.

I think this trailer is killer! It looks like it's going to be one of those real intense, action packed, fast paced movies that we've come to know and love from Ridley Scott, and in fact, as I was showing this trailer to my co-worker Neil, before he saw who it was by, he said, "Is this another Ridley Scott film?" Boy does he have his look nailed down or what?! You can spot a Ridley Scott film miles away in a dust storm! I will go on record as saying that I think Cate Blanchett will be the best Maid Marian we have ever seen.
