Movie News (8/15/2008): Film School Rejects has brand new HIGH RES posters from Oliver Stone’s next picture entitled, “W” which stars Josh Brolin as President George W. Bush. Ironically, these posters are located in Denver which is where the Democratic National Convention will be held in late August.
Do you think this will be a legitimate tongue-in-cheek look at Bush’s presidency, or just Stone’s platform to belittle the Republicans and/or the government?

I watched the trailer for the movie. I think that there will be many political undertones, but I also think this will be a chance for people to get a glimpse of what his life was like before becoming president.
Seems like a decent movie, but with Oliver Stone’s name on it…I will go into it with extreme reservations and cautions.
Being that a lot of news/publicity is coming out before the DNC, I am not surprised with the timing of it. I just hope that it will be something that will people (like the election) will make their own decisions on Bush and not allow the media to effect their view of him.
