Movie Rumors (7/3/2008): Slashfilm cites a British tabloid’s report that a “Friends” movie has been given the greenlight. Sources say that due to the success of “Sex and the City” on the big screen, studio execs and “Friends” creators have really got their wheels spinning about how a film could be just as big, if done right. Cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer will reprise their roles for a big-screen adaptation ‘within the next 18 months’, according to insiders.

Movie News (7/2/2008): Dark Horizons reports that Legendary Pictures has confirmed it is developing a “300″ follow-up for Warner Bros. that Frank Miller is writing and Zack Snyder is intending to direct. Frank Miller is penning a follow-up graphic novel to “300″ and when it’s complete, he will look at it and see if it will be adaptable. Thoughts? Opinions?
Movie News (7/2/2008): Will Ferrell and “Borat” star Sascha Baron Cohen are teaming up for an untitled Sherlock Holmes comedy produced by Judd Apatow and written by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder). Ferrell will play Watson and Cohen will play Holmes. Do you guys think this will be funny? I am not a big Will Ferrell fan (except for The Anchorman and Stranger Than Fiction), but the idea of him and Sascha Baron Cohen teaming up for a Sherlock Holmes movie seems like a funny idea. What do you think?
Movie News (6/30/08): Variety reports that “The Incredible Hulk” director Louis Leterrier is set to direct Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures remake of the 80’s classic “Clash of the Titans.”
Knowing that Will Smith is in my Top 5 Actors list, I had high expectations for this movie. I was fascinated by the picture the trailers painted, an anti-hero who goes around saving lives while drinking too much and never shaving, starring Will Smith…what’s not to like?
Have you ever listened to a soundtrack before seeing a movie? Well, I did that with this movie and completely fell in love with it and came to memorize and sing the songs whenever I could. So, could the movie be as great as the soundtrack for it? Would the performances match the quality of the songs?
