Sorry for the lack of Friday Flicks but these past few weekends have been very travel intense for yours truly and my wife. So, without further ado, here is what is playing this weekend that might be of interest.
Can the newest installment of the beloved C.S. Lewis novel fantasy The Chronicles of Narnia capitalize on the awe and charm of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe?
Movie News (5/21/08): Variety reports that pre-production is about to get underway on The Hobbit films. Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Andy Serkis (Gollum), and Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) have already been contacted about starring in the films, as their characters play important roles in The Hobbit films.
Movie News (5/21/08): It’s all been confirmed now that Christian Bale will be John Connor in the next three Terminator movies. Derek Anderson, a rep for the film’s production company Halycon, says “…he read the script and he loved it, so he’s signed on for all three.” Anyone? Can we really handle 3 more Terminators?
