Movie News (4/29/08): Well, it looks like the trailer hunt is still on. As it stands now, the full online trailer will debut sometime on Sunday, which would make sense due to the opening of Iron Man on Friday. The viral site WhySoSerious.com has a new section added that leads everyone to believe that Sunday will be the debut day!! Check the new section out here.

Movie News (4/25/08): Here is the new Dark Knight poster in all its glory! This movie is looking more and more like it’s going to be probably the best movie of the summer. I literally can’t wait to see this one. Enjoy!
In the last weekend before the big summer movie series kicks off, we have an SNL-alumni-filled movie about babies, a sex-filled thriller starring Hugh Jackman, and another movie to not even waste your time on.
Movie News (4/24/08): Dutch director Paul Verhoeven (Starship Troopers, Robocop, Showgirls) is finally publishing his long-awaited biography of Jesus of Nazareth in September. Verhoeven, who turns 70 in July, has had a lifelong ambition to make a film about Jesus based on scientific research and wrote the biography in hopes of generating enough interest to make a movie. One of his conclusions is that Jesus was probably the son of Mary and a Roman soldier who raped her during a Jewish uprising…take it for what it’s worth.
Movie News (4/24/08): AICN has a report by someone who attended the New York Comic Con and reveals some interesting tidbits concerning some footage he saw of “The Dark Knight.” It’s also been revealed that the newest trailer to hit ONLINE will be masked about a tedious viral game that you will have to complete in order to watch it. Stay tuned.
I was totally expecting a throttling train robbery movie filled with action-packed gun fights and western one-liners that would rival Bonanza, yet was delivered a more heartfelt and emotional film that truly hit the mark.
Movie Rumors (4/21/08): Joel Silver recently talked with IESB about the future of “Wonder Woman” and he revealed that he’s got 2 scribes currently writing a script and that when asked about who would direct, “…Andy Wachowski had an idea on how to open the Wonder Woman film…” but he wouldn’t comment further. You won’t normally see this come out of ToC as I can typically find some positive aspects to a movie, but this was one of the WORST movies I have ever seen…and I need to warn you about it.
Movie News (4/18/2008): Dark Horizons has the super secret plot details for the upcoming X-Files sequel due in theaters July 25th. I saw a bootleg trailer cut from a recent convention and all I can say is WOW!! I am really looking forward to this movie, and though I wasn’t a huge fan of the show (re: Lost), I think it’s that much of a great concept that I want to see the movie.
